Woody was born and raised in Crane, Texas, proudly representing the sixth generation to graduate from Crane High School. With more than 40 years of experience in the Permian Basin, he has built a life centered on family, faith, and community.
For the past 21+ years, Woody has lived in Midland, where he shares his home and faith with his daughter, Marlee, a junior at Midland High School, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Wally.
Woody has been deeply involved in civic and community service. He has served the Midland County Republican Party for many years as an Elections Judge, Precinct 405 Chairman, and most recently as the Central Count Elections Judge. He is active in his church, has served on numerous boards and commissions, and held leadership positions in many non-profit organizations. Woody is also an alumnus of the 25th class of Leadership Midland.
With over 14 years in the insurance industry, Woody is a seasoned Commercial Risk Manager serving the Permian Basin. He is known for his collaborative approach, deep understanding of risk management, and ability to help businesses navigate complex challenges with confidence and clarity.
